You don’t have to live with anxiety – you can fight it

Sleeping problems? You always bite your nails out of worry. You eat desserts and chocolates to reduce stress? It is normal to feel overwhelmed when your day has gone wrong. Sometimes anxiety is a normal reaction to difficult times. These feelings will pass. When they don’t go away, it can be worrying. If you feel restless or eat unhealthy food, you should be concerned. These symptoms are more indicative of an anxiety disorder than just a phase in your life. Anxiety is real. Anxiety attacks are real.

It can be difficult to label anxiety as a mental illness. People often wonder where they can feel anxiety symptoms. You can feel anxiety in a number of ways. Here is a list with some of the most common anxiety symptoms.

  • Worrying excessively
  • Being Agitated All the Time
  • Feeling restless
  • Fatigue
  • Inability to concentrate
  • Irritable Mood
  • Sleep Disturbances
  • Panic attacks
  • Uncomfortable at Social Gatherings

These symptoms are common. You may have a day where you come home from work and you’ve had a difficult time. You might want to binge watch Netflix or eat dessert for dinner. But you still can’t sleep. In the morning everything is fine. A bad day doesn’t necessarily mean you are having an anxiety attack. You should be concerned if these “bad days” occur too frequently. Anxiety is a complex emotion. It’s not easy to peel them back and understand each layer, but we must.

Don’t live with anxiety – When to seek relief

What exactly is anxiety relief, and when should it be sought? It’s not enough to identify the symptoms. It’s not enough to identify the symptoms. You have to do something about them. You need to seek relief. You can find relief from anxiety in many different ways, including self-medication, discipline, therapy and/or medical treatments. The decision to seek help is a matter of personal preference. Some people are able to identify their symptoms, and they do not hesitate in seeking help. They can easily identify the cause of their anxiety and stop it once they have had a proper consultation.

Not everyone is able to identify anxiety in the bud. Anxiety may creep up slowly and not bother you at first. It can then suddenly ruin your life, before you even realize it. Even in extreme situations, there is always help available. Even if you are experiencing attacks one after another, you can still overcome your anxiety.

What can relieve anxiety?

There are many ways to relieve anxiety. You can choose to get relief from anxiety by self-medicating, undergoing therapy or seeking medical attention. Every person is unique and will react differently to different types of relief. What may have worked well for someone else may not work for you. Self-discipline, and medications are good places to start.

Self-Medication & Discipline: Don’t Live with Anxiety

It is a great feeling to take control of your life, but do it wisely. Some things that have been proven to reduce anxiety include:

  • Healthy Eating
  • Exercising Daily
  • Everyday sleeping at the same time
  • Listening to music or reading a book prior to going to bed
  • Picking up a New Hobby

Self-medication with mood supplements is not unknown. Alternative medicines are known to use them as they are made with natural ingredients. The herbs, minerals and amino acids used to make mood supplement pills contain anxiety and stress. Despite being small, these pills are fast-acting. They also provide long-term relief. They work better the longer you take. They are supplements and not medications, so you can take them for as long as you like without consulting a doctor. It is best to consult your GP before using any alternative medicine.

Therapy: Don’t live with anxiety

The most common treatment for anxiety is cognitive behavioral therapy. This is a short term treatment where problematic thoughts and patterns of the patient are identified and examined. CBT helps patients understand what triggers anxiety attacks and then a therapist will help them overcome those triggers. Professionals also use other types of therapy. It’s difficult to predict what a therapist is going to do to help you. Each therapist evaluates the mental capacity of a patient and treats him/her accordingly.

Medication

Patients with anxiety disorders are often prescribed a variety of medications. Commonly prescribed medicines range from antidepressants to Buspirone. Chemical medicines can cause a variety of side effects, from nausea to headaches to dizziness. Antidepressants taken in high doses can also harm the body. Do not take a pill before consulting your doctor.

Anxiety disorders are a serious and common mental illness. It affects millions of people. It is not untreatable just because it’s common. It is. You don’t have to suffer from anxiety disorder for the rest of your life. All you have to do is speak. Talk to family and friends about your fears. Consult a therapist if that doesn’t work. Don’t just accept it. You can use mood supplements if you’re afraid to start aggressive treatment when you see the first symptoms. These supplements are not only highly effective, but they also have very few side effects. These are the best options if you want to cure anxiety without taking medication.

Anxiety disorder is treated. Don’t live with it. It is worth fighting and you will win.
